Black Forest Flowers' Wedding/Event Specialists are available to meet with you by appointment only.
When you call for your appointment, you will be asked to provide some preliminary information such as, the date & time of your event, the venue you have chosen, number of guests, color scheme, types of flowers you are interested in, and approximate budget. This information will help us formulate some ideas for our initial consultation, which typically lasts 30 - 60 minutes. The goal is for a stress-free easy process because we understand there are many other details to coordinate. This is why you will be encouraged to bring any and all materials you may have collected (magazine clippings, color swatches, websites, etc...) to share your ideas and help express what appeals to you.
We will provide feedback and a rough verbal estimate based on this exchange. If you decide to allow us the honor of being your Florist of choice, we would then require a deposit. At this time we provide a detailed, written estimate and your date will be reserved exclusively. Making your event the best it can be will become our primary focus! If you are undecided on the type of centerpiece you like, we can arrange a preview of 2 or 3 examples for you to see. You are welcome to call or email with any new ideas concerning your event. Most changes can be made up to 2 - 4 weeks prior to the event. Special items, vases, and flowers will have to be ordered by this time. The date for full payment will be included on your written estimate and you may pay in installments if you wish.
